I haven't been able to post anything the past several days because lately I wasn't feeling well and I was trying to catch up on sleep, which is also why I've been putting off finishing any sketches I had lying around. This is one of those sketches that I've worked on last night and managed to finish today.
If anyone remembers my previous drawing Brainwashed and Violent Ken, my headcanon for Brainwashed Ken is that aside from being brainwashed (hence the name) by M. Bison, he was also horribly experimented on and kept imprisoned under very harsh conditions. As a result, Ken is emaciated, he has veins showing all over his body, his hair is limp and stringy, his clothes don't fit right, and he looks like a zombie. He wears these steel vambraces (similar to M. Bison's) that also have built-in syringes continuously injecting Psycho ki (Yes, Psycho ki, not Psycho Power) into his body, enhancing both Ken's powers and ensuring that Ken is under M. Bison's control. The corruption of M. Bison's ki had a hand in Brainwashed Ken's appearance, too; if a Street Fighter is forced to consume tainted ki, then it'll make them very sickly and weak, with the side-effects eventually showing up similar to radiation poisoning.
Because he is granted use of M. Bison's Psycho ki (albeit against his will), Brainwashed Ken has the power to create and control flames that not only burn flesh and inorganic material, but also a person's soul. Since he is so weak, I see Brainwashed Ken as a psychological weapon more than anything - specifically to make his friends feel incredibly guilty in attacking him even in self-defense. I mean, you have this person who is trying to kill you, but said person is also your best friend who also happens to be brainwashed and looks weak enough to break into a thousand pieces if you punch him once.
(To emphasize how skinny Ken is, I drew a reference of what his body looks like without the red karate gi on the bottom left. I took inspiration from Dhalsim in this one because I didn't want to actually look up emaciated people on Google images and give myself nightmares.)
